Meet the Thrive Team

Dr. Matthew grew up in Moline, Illinois, just a few miles from where chiropractic was founded. It is there that he developed a love for chiropractic and the incredible results that so many people achieve through specific chiropractic care. Immediately upon graduating high school in Moline Dr. Matthew began an accelerated tract that was offered at Palmer College of Chiropractic to get his doctorate quicker.

While at Palmer he received a Bachelor’s degree in Science and eventually transferred to Palmer Florida in Port Orange Florida to be with his wife, Dr. Tiffany Thornton. Throughout his career at Palmer, Dr. Matthew attended countless seminars, embarked on chiropractic mission trips, and was president of a Chiropractic coaching program for students that helped to develop competent and confident doctors upon graduation. Dr. Matthew finished his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer Florida which has equipped and empowered him to help patients get the best results with their health possible.

When taking care of his patients Dr. Matthew values individualized healthcare, rather than the traditional broad stroke approach. He and Dr. Tiffany build their practice on this premise: “No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.”

Because they are avid researchers Dr. Matthew and Dr. Tiffany are constantly providing the best care for their patients backed up by cutting edge research. This allows them to get to the root cause of your problem and get you results that previously wouldn’t have been possible.

Dr.Tiffany has had a heart for service ever since a young age. She’s traveled 7 different countries doing mission work, and she has actively been involved in local mission work here in Jacksonville ever since moving to the Duval area.

She majored in kinesiology with a concentration in neurology in her undergrad up in Boston at Gordon College. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with her doctorate in 2012 and was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award. She has also since been awarded the Alumni of the Year award from he alma mater, the Medical Director of the Year award from the Naval Base in the Dominican Republic, and she was awarded Jacksonville’s top female doctor in 2018.

She has gone on to become certified in chiropractic biophysics. She also takes a special interest in the holistic approach to the health of her patients and their families which is why she founded and developed NUTRITION ON PURPOSE, which is an additional way she gives back to missions locally and abroad.

I completed an 8 month mission trip through Chiromission and served on the board for several years. I strive to meet patients where they are in their journey to wellness. Dr. Matthew Connor has a passion for helping people discover the true meaning of health in every area of their lives. He leads and directs the chiropractic and tissue regeneration divisions of Thrive Health Center.

Dr. Connor earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College in Florida, where he discovered the lifestyle, connection, and purpose that chiropractic care can bring. During his training, he joined mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Haiti, providing care to thousands of people of all ages. Originally from Nashville, TN, he fell in love with Florida’s sunshine and active lifestyle and chose to make Jacksonville home.

Before his chiropractic education, Dr. Connor graduated from Roanoke College in Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Science and minors in Environmental Science and Health Care Delivery. A lifelong athlete and collegiate rugby player, he saw firsthand the toll that intense activity without recovery can take on the body. After struggling with debilitating migraines for years, chiropractic care transformed his health and inspired his commitment to helping others understand that true health is about more than symptom relief,  it’s about wholeness and optimal function.

At Thrive Health Center, Dr. Connor combines advanced, structural-based chiropractic with cutting-edge regenerative therapies. As one of the first providers in the nation to adopt SoftWave TRT technology, he has positioned the clinic at the forefront of non-invasive, results-driven care for joint pain and chronic conditions. At times, Thrive has performed more SoftWave treatments than any other office in the country, a reflection of both patient trust and clinical outcomes. With a focus on knee pain, shoulder issues, and chronic joint conditions, Dr. Connor helps patients avoid drugs, injections, and surgery by addressing the root causes of pain and supporting the body’s natural God-given healing ability. Beyond Thrive, he coaches clinics nationwide on implementing SoftWave effectively to achieve optimal results.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Connor practices what he preaches, staying active with strength training, yoga, breathwork, hiking, basketball, and new hobbies like golf and pickleball. He and his wife Emily also raise and train service animals with Southeastern Guide Dogs, supporting people with visual impairments, mobility restrictions, and PTSD. A lifelong student, he continues to expand his expertise through ongoing training and seminars, always seeking to bring the highest level of care to his patients.

Dr. Logan is our lead adjusting doctor and manages patient care from start to finish. He is passionate about helping patients of all ages reach their fullest potential through chiropractic  and regenerative care. A native of River Falls, Wisconsin, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Carleton College in Minnesota, where he also played football (which is still a passion of his). He went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta Georgia, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

During his training, Dr. Logan studied a wide range of chiropractic techniques, including Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP), Diversified (Full Spine), Thompson, and Activator, a combination of which he uses to treat each individual patient and their specific needs. He also completed specialized training in pediatric care and is Webster Certified to provide safe and effective chiropractic care throughout pregnancy. In both his training and demeanor, he is dedicated to creating a welcoming, family-centered environment where patients feel supported, heard, and understood on their health journey.

Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active – whether it’s lifting, surfing, or spending time at the beach with his wife, Breanna, and their two children, Hayes and Brielle. Growing up in sports, he continues to be passionate about athletics, wellness, and serving his community. He is also actively involved in his church and values building strong connections both in and out of the office.

Meg is our Clinic Director originally from the small town of Wetumpka, Alabama- so the southern charm (and accent) come naturally to her. Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Psychology, she joined our team to develop our processes, procedures, and strategies for making Thrive its very best. Meg is ALL THINGS patient experience and believes that each interaction is significant and impactful. She works to lead our team in both excellence and intention- empowering our team to operate within their God-given strengths and at the heart of it all, reflect the love of Jesus who listens, cares, and brings joy into every room.

Away from the office, Meg is heavily involved in her husband, Cam’s, student ministry and loves mentoring middle and high school girls. In her free time, she LOVES being in nature. Whether it’s long walks at the park, watching sunsets at the beach, or simply drinking coffee on the back porch- the outdoors make her feel right at home. You can typically find her with a huge smile on her face and can always count on her to crack a joke. Above all, Meg loves laughter, her people, Thrive, and Jesus (and of course, her dog Missy).

Kelly is originally from South Florida and loves her role as the Front Desk Manager. She loves keeping everything organized, connecting with patients, and checking things off her to do list! She is always up to date with office happenings, so if you have any questions Kelly is your girl! She is passionate about connecting the practice within the community, creating partnerships and relationships with other businesses that help everyone grow together.

Outside of Thrive, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband down by the pool, reading a good book, and soaking in the sunshine. She also loves discovering new podcasts, finding fun ways to keep learning, and making space for self care- so if you need a good sugar scrub or book recommendation, Kelly’s got you. Most of all, she enjoys laughing and creating memorable moments with her husband and the people she loves.

From sunny Jacksonville, Florida, Leah brings warmth, kindness, and a big smile to everything she does. She loves connecting with patients, making them feel comfortable, and being a helpful part of their wellness journey. Leah’s passion for learning keeps her growing both personally and professional. She’s always looking for new ways to support her team and patients alike. She also enjoys lending her creativity to Thrives social media, helping share a glimpse of the care and positivity that happens every day, and maybe a few fun shenanigans along the way. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her in the kitchen trying out new recipes or relaxing by the beach with the ocean breeze in her hair. Whether she’s caring for patients or cooking up something delicious, Leah leads with heart, positivity, and a love for what she does.

Alex is originally from Akron, Ohio, and discovered her passion for softball and volleyball after relocating to South Florida. In 2008, just before graduating high school, she moved to Jacksonville, where she later earned her Associate of Science degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ). Upon graduation, Alex started working in healthcare and fell in love with helping patients on their journey to health.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and their two dogs. As a family, they love exploring the outdoors and making the most of Florida’s sunshine- especially when it involves cooking together and enjoying meals off the grill. Known for her warm and welcoming personality, Alex takes pride in brightening every patient’s day and ensuring their experience is as smooth and positive as possible from the moment they walk in the door.

Liz was born and raised in sunny Florida and developed a passion for swimming at the age of 4. She swam competitively at the University of Florida and received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Education and Behavior. She started working as a Softwave technician with a passion for health, healing, AND people- which happens to be her favorite part of her job. She is currently continuing her education in X-Ray school to further support our Jacksonville community. In her free time, Liz loves to spend time with her friends/family, do pool days with her dog Tucker, and LOVES to travel, so be sure to ask her about all of her journeys!
